By creating an account or using any AssistMe application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

AssistMe provides AI-powered applications for personal growth and self-reflection. Our apps analyze user-submitted text to generate insights, identify patterns, and suggest actionable steps.

3. Account & Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use our services.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Credits & Payments

• AssistMe uses a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you use AI-powered features.
• Credits can be purchased through In-App Purchase (iOS) or through our website.
• All purchases are final. Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy for App Store purchases.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
• We reserve the right to change credit pricing. Existing purchased credits are not affected by price changes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or harmful purpose.
• Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or circumvent any security measures.
• Submit content that is harmful, threatening, or violates others' rights.
• Use automated means to access the service (bots, scrapers, etc.).

6. AI-Generated Content

The insights and analysis provided by AssistMe are generated by AI and are for informational purposes only. They are not professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

7. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of the content you submit to AssistMe.
• By submitting content, you grant us a license to process it for the purpose of providing our services.
• AI-generated analysis and insights are provided for your personal use.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

AssistMe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to decisions made based on AI-generated content.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
